Installing a Yealink WH63 E2 Headset on a Yealink Phone
A quick direct USB connection for a compatible Yealink IP phone.
No power adapter or EHS cable is required. The phone powers the WH63 E2 base directly through the USB cable.

Connect the cable to the base.
Insert the USB-C end into the PC port on the back of the WH63 E2 base.

Connect the cable to the phone.
Insert the USB-A end into the USB port on the back of the Yealink phone.
Insert the USB-A end into the USB port on the back of the Yealink phone.

Charge the headset.
Place it on the base. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

Place a test call.
Press the phone’s Headset key or the call button on the WH63 E2.

This connection works with Yealink phones that support USB headsets, including:

T73W and other T7 models that support USB headsets.
T5 Series
T53, T53W, T54W, T57W, T58A, T58W and VP59.

T42U, T43U, T46U and T48U.

Quick troubleshooting
- Reconnect the cable to the base’s PC port and the phone’s USB port.
- Restart the phone while leaving the base connected.
- Press the phone’s Headset key and check the volume.
